BurgerFest Memphis Event Recap

October is a time for pumpkins, scary movies and costumes, and at Tiger Lane at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on October 27, it was all about burgers.

BurgerFest Memphis, previously known as Best Memphis Burger Festival, returned for another year with a burger bar, six signature selections crafted by Tamera Eddy of Chef Tam’s Underground Café, and various local beers on tap. This year’s festival was also different than most, with the addition of a kids zone and large inflatables.

A portion of the proceeds from BurgerFest Memphis 2018 were donated to the Mid-South Food Bank, an organization that focuses on eliminating hunger in the Mid-South by providing food for families, children and seniors in the area.

Southwood Entertainment was pleased with the turnout, and is already looking forward to planning next year’s event, where they will bring back the burger competition and sampling.

A huge thank you to Billy Hicks with Event Rentals by Hicks for partnering with BurgerFest Memphis, along with our event sponsors, Tim Pomp the Auto Broker, Jack Pirtle's Chicken, Huey’s, Goner Records,Hi Tone,Roundhouse Revival and Memphis Health Center.
